Pokémon Cafe is refreshing its Japan locations for summer 2026. The official Pokémon Cafe site says new food, desserts, drinks, and show offerings will begin on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at both Pokémon Cafe TOKYO and Pokémon Cafe OSAKA.
The update also ties into a renovation at Pokémon Cafe TOKYO, which is getting a new stage for a Pikachu-themed parfait show.
What Is New?
- New show: “Let’s Make a Pika Pika Parfait,” built around making a parfait together with Pikachu.
- New dessert: Pika Pika Parfait ~Chocolate & Berries~ with Special Decoration Piece.

- Drink bonus: One Pokémon 30th Anniversary logo sticker per drink while supplies last.
The official site notes that the show may feature Chef Pikachu, Waitress Pikachu, or Patissier Pikachu, depending on the visit.

Tokyo Gets the Bigger Update
The menu rollout applies to both Tokyo and Osaka, but the renovation detail is specific to Pokémon Cafe TOKYO. The Tokyo cafe is getting a refreshed interior and a new stage for “Let’s Make a Pika Pika Parfait.” The official announcement also teases that more Pokémon may visit the cafe than before.
For travelers, that makes June 17 a practical date to watch: it is not only a menu change, but also the start of the refreshed Tokyo experience.
Reservation Notes for Visitors
Pokémon Cafe requires online reservations. The official site says reservations cannot be made by phone or email, and it also warns that shows can change, be canceled, or end early without refunds or reservation transfers.
In other words: treat the new show as a bonus attraction, not a guaranteed paid performance. If your priority is the themed food, book early and check the official reservation page before visiting.
