It’s amazing how many anime series have pink-haired characters. From shonen to slice-of-life schoolgirl comedies to magical girl series to even seinen, you will find pink-haired people everywhere.
This article is dedicated to popular pink people.
List of Most Popular Pink-Haired Anime Characters
- Anya Forger, Spy x Family

- Nadeshiko Kagamihara, Yuru Camp
- Mitsuri Kanroji, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
- Madoka Kaname, Puella Magi Madoka Magica

- Mina Ashido, My Hero Academia
10. Mina Ashido, My Hero Academia
Mina is the pinkest of pink-haired girls, but that’s not why she’s on this list.
While she’s not a main protagonist, she holds her own in battle with her unique acid quirk. She’s also energetic, agile, and athletic.
When she’s not being heroic, her cheerful personality adds a lot of comic relief. She’s also a great dancer, as seen during the School Festival Arc.
If you’re a Mina fan, consider this Funko Pop! figurine:
9. Zero Two, Darling in the Franxx
This red-horned, half-human mecha pilot was nicknamed “Partner Killer” at the beginning of the anime. Things change when she takes an interest in her new co-pilot, Hiro.
Zero Two has a somewhat wild, rebellious, and selfish personality. But, she also wants to become more human. Much of the series focuses on her attempts to grow as a person.
She also gives the series its title, by referring to Hiro as her “Darling.”
Good Smile Company makes a cute Zero Two Nendoroid:
8. Sakura Haruno, Naruto
Sakura can be something of a polarizing figure. Some don’t like her tsundere personality, or her Sasuke fangirling. But people do cosplay her a lot, which says something.
She adds a lot to Team 7’s group dynamic. She’s the serious counterpart to Naruto’s goofy personality.
In battle, she’s a strong and tough ninja warrior.
Amazon also has Sakura keychains:
7. Natsu Dragneel, Fairy Tail
Hot-blooded and always ready for a fight, Natsu makes a great shonen hero.
Like many shonen protagonists, he often acts without thinking. However, this seems to be more due to impatience and a desire to charge heroically into battle than a lack of intelligence.
When he does stop to plan ahead, he’s actually good at strategy. He also knows when he’s outmatched, or when he needs to rest before continuing.
His heroic resolve, determination, and action-comedy hero traits make him a fun character to root for.
This figurine includes Happy, too:
6. Saiki Kusuo, The Disastrous Life of Saiki K
As a teen with potentially deadly psychic powers, Saiki has to keep himself in check in order to avoid disaster.
He wants to live a normal life. Naturally, this isn’t actually possible, for various comedy reasons, but he still tries to avoid attracting attention.
As a result, he ends up as a quiet, stoic, and introverted boy in the middle of comedic chaos.
You can’t cosplay Saiki without his trademark hair clips:
5. Madoka Kaname, Puella Magi Madoka Magica
Madoka has all of the traits of a typical magical girl. She’s sweet, cheerful, kind, and caring. But she also lacks confidence, and sees herself as just an average, ordinary girl.
Unfortunately for her, Puella Magi Madoka Magica is not a typical magical girl series. The girls are trapped in an endless cycle of fighting witches.
Despite it all, Madoka maintains her hope and idealism for most of the series.
How about a plush Madoka?
4. Mitsuri Kanroji, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
Some might argue that Mitsuri has pink-and-green hair. But she’s pink enough for this list.
Mitsuri first appears with the rest of the Hashira when they gather to judge Tanjiro for breaking Demon Slayer Corps rules. But her real introduction is during the Swordsmith Village Arc.
On the surface, Mitsuri has a kind, bubbly, and gentle personality. She’s the Love Hashira, and her general attitude seems to reflect that. But in battle, she’s as determined as any other demon slayer.
And her flexible, whip-like sword is fascinating to watch.

3. Nadeshiko Kagamihara, Yuru Camp
Nadeshiko is energetic, enthusiastic, and cheerful, especially when it comes to camping.
Although she starts out as a newcomer to the Yamanashi area, and a rookie camper besides, she quickly becomes the heart and soul of her high school’s Outdoor Activities Club (you can start watching Yuru Camp here).
In addition, she’s also a huge fan of cooking, and will often prepare the camp meals. She’s also a fan of eating, and her expressions of ecstatic delight will make you want what she’s having.
Let Nadeshiko decorate your car:
2. Bocchi, Bocchi the Rock!
Hitori Gotoh may suffer from an extreme case of social anxiety, but that’s what makes her so lovable and relatable.
Hitori — a.k.a. Bocchi — joins a rock band in an attempt to overcome her shyness. Unfortunately, just joining a band isn’t enough. But still, she never gives up. You can’t help but root for her.
Bocchi is also undeniably imaginative and creative — even if a lot of that imagination goes toward imagining social horror scenarios. In addition, she is a good source of funny anime moments (Bocchi in a box), and wild takes.

1. Anya Forger, Spy x Family
Anya made it to the top of this list mostly based on her hilariously weird, goofy, creative, and imaginative personality. Her grade school cuteness is a huge part of what makes Spy x Family fun to watch.
But, the little weirdo also has a lot of other worthwhile traits as well. She’s a mind reader who knows that her adopted parents are secretly a spy and an assassin. This is exciting, confusing, and frightening for her, and yet she manages to keep it together.
As a former orphan, she doesn’t want to lose her new family. She genuinely cares about them.
Because she knows about her father’s mission, she also does what she can to help “save the world,” even if she misinterprets the situation sometimes. If that means putting up with Damien Desmond, so be it.

Conclusion
To create this article, I first listed as many pink-haired characters as I could. I then compared my list with online anime lists. I had just been to Anime Expo when I wrote this, so popular cosplay choices also influenced it.
The end result is a mixture of my opinion, and the internet’s choices.
Did I get it right? Let us know in the comments.
