World Trigger fans in Japan are getting a new exhibition tied to the anime’s REBOOT project. Toei Animation’s official event page confirms that Anime WORLD TRIGGER Exhibition “REBOOT” will run in Tokyo this summer before moving to Osaka later in 2026.

The exhibition is built as a walk back through the beginning of the story, with zones covering Mikado City, Border, Tamakoma Branch, and the team-formation arc. The fan-service hook is very specific: one zone includes a recreation of the training rooms inside Border HQ.

When and Where Is the World Trigger REBOOT Exhibition?

  • Tokyo: August 11–September 1, 2026 at Sunshine City Exhibition Hall C in Ikebukuro
  • Osaka: November 14–December 6, 2026 at the ATC ITM Building 4F special venue
  • Hours: 10:00–20:00, with final entry at 19:00

For Tokyo travelers, the timing matters. The Tokyo run opens on August 11, which is a Japanese public holiday in 2026, and the official ticket notes say some dates use timed-entry tickets. Visitors should check the eplus ticket page before assuming they can simply walk up.

What Will Be Inside?

The official event page describes five main areas. The prologue uses a Mikado City diorama and video presentation to review the path from the large-scale invasion to Border’s establishment. Later zones follow Osamu, Yuma, Chika, Tamakoma Branch, and the early steps toward forming a team.

The most practical draw for longtime fans is Zone 3: Border HQ. Toei’s description says the area follows the characters’ growth through enlistment and training, and includes a recreation of training rooms inside Border headquarters. For a series that is famous for tactical matches and squad structure, that is exactly the kind of physical display that makes sense as an exhibition centerpiece.

Zone 4 is listed as an animation-materials display for the REBOOT project, including character-setting materials. The official page marks that area as no-photography, so visitors should not expect every display to be shareable online.

Ticket Prices and Entry Notes

  • General advance ticket: ¥2,300
  • General same-day ticket: ¥2,600
  • Elementary-school advance ticket: ¥1,300
  • Elementary-school same-day ticket: ¥1,600
  • Goods-included ticket: ¥4,800, with a special clear shoulder bag handed out at the venue

Preschool children are admitted free, according to the official notes. Re-entry is not allowed, and the merchandise area requires an admission ticket. The official page also says Osaka ticket-sales details will be announced through the event’s official X account when sales begin.

Can Visitors Take Photos?

Mostly, but not everywhere. The event’s photography rules say still photography is allowed for exhibits unless a specific area is marked otherwise. Video recording, audio recording, unauthorized livestreaming, flash, tripods, selfie sticks, and commercial use of photos are prohibited. The official hashtag suggestions include #ワールドトリガー, #ワートリREBOOT, and #ワートリREBOOT展.

Why This Exhibition Is Worth Watching

World Trigger has always been a series where place and systems matter: Border ranks, training rooms, trigger technology, teams, maps, and match rules are part of the appeal. A standard key-visual gallery would be nice, but a physical exhibition that turns those systems into rooms and zones is a better fit for the franchise.

For overseas fans planning late-summer or autumn Japan trips, this is also useful calendar information. Tokyo gets the event in August, while Osaka gets a later run in November and early December, making it possible to build the stop into very different travel seasons.
