Updated for 2026: Here are the clearest legal watch options currently public for Land of the Lustrous, based on direct platform pages and official title sources.
Land of the Lustrous, also useful to search as 宝石の国 or Houseki no Kuni, is the CG fantasy anime about Phos and the gem warriors, where Japan currently surfaces clean direct pages on U-NEXT and Prime Video even though U.S. availability has become shakier. The clearest saved answer for this title now comes from Japan, where both U-NEXT and Prime Video still surface direct pages for the anime.

Japan and Region Notes
Because the Japan rows are the strongest saved public evidence right now, the guide centers them instead of pretending a weaker U.S. page is cleaner than it is.
That keeps the article honest about the current region split while still giving readers two direct pages they can actually open.
Other Legal Services to Check
- Current U.S. availability looked unstable in the broader check, so this guide centers the stronger Japan-side direct title pages instead of overclaiming a U.S. stream
- Netflix
- Hulu
- Disney+
- Crunchyroll
- Apple TV storefront
- Google TV / YouTube Movies
- Tubi / Roku / Plex
If the direct pages above are unavailable where you live, search the title on the other legal services listed here before you assume the anime has no legal streaming option in your region.
Can You Use NordVPN?
A VPN is most useful when you already pay for a legal streaming service and you are traveling outside your normal catalog region. Because Land of the Lustrous has a confirmed legal watch path for readers in Japan, NordVPN may help you reach the library you already use while abroad. Use it for legitimate subscriptions, not piracy sites.
