Matsuya’s summer One Piece promotion is much more practical than the giant-font campaign art makes it look. This is a nationwide meal-and-bonus campaign that started on June 30, 2026 and ties certain orders to themed food, random bonus goods, and a receipt-based prize drawing.
This is a rules-heavy chain promotion rather than a vague anime collab, with the main practical points being store eligibility, qualifying order totals, on-the-spot bonuses, and the receipt drawing.
What The Announcement Actually Confirms
Official Matsuya x One Piece campaign page says the campaign is built around the 夏だ!宴だ!大まんぷく祭 theme and uses oversized menu branding, random acrylic block chopstick rests, and a web-entry drawing for an original collaboration bowl.
The page also makes clear that this is not limited to one ordering method. Dine-in is not the only path: qualifying orders through Matsuya’s mobile ordering service, Matsuben Net, and Matsuben Delivery are also included in the campaign structure.
The full Japanese announcement lists the currently announced details available so far.
Confirmed Details
- Campaign start: June 30, 2026.
- Eligible receipt drawing: one web entry per receipt of 800 yen or more including tax.
- Prize for the drawing: an original collaboration bowl for 100 winners.
- Eligible chain: nationwide Matsuya stores, with Matsunoya specialty shops, some My Curry Shokudo formats, and Sushi Matsu excluded.
- On-the-spot bonus: one random acrylic block chopstick rest, with 12 total designs and no choice of design.
- Campaign sets can be ordered in multiple rice sizes, and prices may vary by size and by store.
- The page warns that distribution ends once each branch runs out and that resale is prohibited.
It is not built around one reservation-only themed cafe. The campaign is structured around participating Matsuya branches, a qualifying order, the in-store bonus item, and a separate later web drawing tied to the receipt.
It is also worth noticing how broad the chain access is compared with many anime restaurant tie-ins. This is still a limited campaign, but it is operationally closer to a big fast-food promotion than to a reservation-only themed dining event.
What Has Not Been Announced Yet
The remaining uncertainty is mostly branch-level execution. The campaign page already says menu handling and pricing can vary by store, and stock is not guaranteed once local bonuses run out.
Store-by-store stock levels and menu handling can still vary, but the campaign rules and bonus structure are already publicly posted.
