Hololive VTuber Hakui Koyori is back in the sake aisle. KURAND has opened limited sales for Rikei Kyodai No.54 Re, the second collaboration between Koyori and the Fukushima sake brand Rikei Kyodai.

According to Anime! Anime! and KURAND’s announcement, the new bottle is an updated version of the 2022 collaboration Rikei Kyodai No.54. The hook is not just character branding: Koyori herself again helped select the rice and yeast, using data from Ariga Brewery to aim for the “dry and fruity” profile she wanted.

What Is Rikei Kyodai No.54 Re?

  • Product name: 理系兄弟 No.54 Re
  • Type: Junmai daiginjo sake
  • Alcohol: 15%
  • Size: 720ml
  • Rice: Gohyakumangoku
  • Rice polishing ratio: 40%
  • Yeast: F7-01 and 701-15
  • Brewery: Ariga Brewery in Fukushima Prefecture
  • Price: ¥8,910 including tax

KURAND describes the product as a “completed” or refined version of the earlier collaboration. The original Rikei Kyodai No.54 reportedly sold out its first sales round in about three minutes, which explains why this return is being treated as a limited fan item rather than a normal catalog release.

Sale Window and Shipping

Sales began at 20:00 JST on May 30, 2026. The listed order deadline is June 21, 2026 at 23:59 JST, but KURAND notes that sales may end once the available quantity is gone. During JPBound’s source check, KURAND’s product page displayed the 720ml option as sold out, so availability may already have changed. Shipments are scheduled to begin sequentially from mid-August 2026.

KURAND’s product page also lists the item as a reservation product requiring refrigerated delivery, with a separate cool-shipping fee. As this is alcohol, buyers should check KURAND’s purchase rules, age requirements, and shipping availability before trying to order.

Why This Collaboration Works

Koyori is presented in hololive’s Secret Society holoX unit as a researcher, so the “science brothers” sake brand is a clean fit. The collaboration leans into that character concept by making the technical choices — rice, yeast, data, and taste design — part of the story.

That is why this is more interesting than a simple label-swap. VTuber alcohol collaborations often sell on artwork and scarcity, but Rikei Kyodai No.54 Re gives fans a more specific angle: a dry, fruity sake whose specs and development process are being tied directly to Koyori’s stated preferences.
