If you’re in the mood for a good Power Rangers sentai show parody, but you also love romantic comedy anime, you should watch Love After World Domination online.
In this parody of both romcom conventions and tokusatsu superhero shows, Fudo and Desumi are “star-crossed” teens who fall in love despite being a hero and a villainess respectively.
It’s a show worth streaming if you know where to find it.
Love After World Domination Basics
Love After World Domination has a pretty simple premise. Fudo Aikawa, a.k.a. Red Gelato, heroically leads the superhero team Freezing Sentai Gelato 5.
Unfortunately, his girlfriend, Desumi Magahara is also the Reaper Princess, a leader in the evil Secret Society Gekko. Gekko wants to take over the world, and Gelato 5 battles to stop it.
Fudo and Desumi somehow manage to keep their relationship a secret. In addition to the sentai parody, there’s also a lot of romantic silliness, and some slice-of-life high school stuff.
Love After World Domination History
Hiroshi Noda and Takahiro Wakamatsu created the Love After World Domination manga. It appeared in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine from 2019 to 2022.
The anime series ran from April to June 2022. As of May 2023, the creators have not announced a season 2.

What About Netflix?
When I put together this list, I searched for the series at Netflix Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand.
As a huge competitor to Crunchyroll, Netflix often steps in where Crunchyroll drops the ball. (And Asia can sometimes be a weak spot in Crunchyroll’s world domination.)
However, this time I found no evidence that Netflix even knew what Love After World Domination was. It is possible that I missed a spot, and for that I apologize.
But, hopefully, the services listed should provide good options for anime fans around the world.
