About the Series

At the beginning of this comedy isekai series, an ordinary human is reborn as a prince in a fantasy world.

Haruto’s magic level is far beyond what is normally measurable, which leads people to believe that he is actually extremely weak. He also can’t use most kinds of magic. But he can manipulate barriers to do everything from flying to combat to surveillance.

Although he initially only wants to live a quiet life, he soon finds himself in the middle of a fight between the imperial royal family (his birth parents), and his adopted family (relatives to the royals). This results in him doing a lot of secret superheroics behind the scenes.

The series is full of great characters, such as Haruto’s spunky and adorable little sister Charlotte (“Char”), and his faithful and strong Fenrir servant, Flay.

Am I Actually the Strongest? started out as a light novel series by Sai Sumimori. In July 2023, it was adapted into an anime series. As of September 2023, it is currently in the middle of Season 1.

Am I Actually the Strongest at Ani-One at YouTube

Medialink, a Hong Kong-based anime licensor and distributor, has the series at its Ani-One Anime channel on YouTube. I was able to watch by setting my VPN to Taiwan.

Pros

  • Free episodes

Cons

  • No English translation

Conclusion: What About Netflix?

Am I Actually the Strongest at Crunchyroll - Sai Sumimori/ Kodansha/ “Jitsu wa Ore” Production Committee

I attempted to find Am I Actually the Strongest? on Netflix in multiple countries, including the United States, Japan, Singapore, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Thailand.

Since the first season is not finished (as I type this), it is possible that Netflix will have the series eventually.

In the meantime, you should be able to watch the series on any of the above choices.
