If you’re looking for a Naruto necklace, we can help you find what you want.

When it comes to anime merch, T-shirts are pretty common. You can find a lot of anime hats online, too. But if you want something unique and different, a necklace may be just the thing.

After all, a necklace once played an important role in Naruto. (See the entry for the First Hokage’s necklace below for more details.)

Before we get into the Naruto necklace fun, let’s review what Naruto is all about.

About Naruto

Naruto gets the First Hokage's necklace from Tsunade, at Crunchyroll - Masashi Kishimoto Scott/ Shueisha/ TV Tokyo/ Pierrot

After more than 20 years, Naruto remains a quintessential shonen anime and manga series. It checks off all of the shonen boxes.

Naruto Uzumaki starts out as a young underdog with dreams of becoming the greatest ninja of all time. He has a lot of allies, teachers, and mentors to help him, and a “never say die” attitude.

But he also has a dark and troubled rival, numerous villains to fight (and, if possible, convert to his side), and a lot of training and learning to do.

Masashi Kishimoto created the first Naruto manga in 1999, which ran in Weekly Shonen Jump. It ended in 2014. The anime series started in 2002 and ended in 2017. (Technically speaking, the anime was divided into two parts — Naruto and Naruto Shippuden.)

However, the Naruto story isn’t quite over yet, because there’s still the sequel series Boruto. Although Part 1 of Boruto is finished, the creators have announced that there will be a Part 2 in the future.

10 Best Naruto Necklaces

1. Itachi Uchiha, ZenPlus

Itachi Uchiha (Naruto) headband, necklace, and ring, available at ZenPlus

Our first item is a multi-part set. It features accessories for cosplaying Itachi Uchiha.

The first part of this set is a ninja headband and forehead protector, featuring Konoha’s swirling leaf logo. Itachi’s headband has a slash through it, symbolizing his decision to leave the village. The second part is a ring, similar to the one that Itachi wears on his right hand.

And last but not least, it comes with a necklace. Unless you’re paying close attention, you might not notice it, especially as it can be covered by his Akatsuki cloak. But Itachi always wears a necklace. That sort of attention to detail can mean the difference between a pretty good cosplay and a great one.

You can get this item at ZenPlus.

2. First Hokage, Amazon

First Hokage's necklace (from Naruto), available at Amazon

These necklaces are replicas of the necklace that Tsunade gave to Naruto. If you’re cosplaying Naruto (after episode 95), or Tsunade (prior to that episode), this necklace could help.

As the story goes, the necklace originally belonged to the legendary First Hokage. And then his granddaughter Tsunade inherited it.

Eventually, she made a bet with Naruto — if he could master the Rasengan, the necklace would be his. Of course, Naruto won the bet.

The jewelry is more than just a fashion statement — it also helped Naruto control Kurama, the Nine-Tailed Fox.

You can get this item at Amazon.

3. Sage Mode, BoxLunch

Sage Mode (Naruto) pendant necklace at BoxLunch

This exclusive item from BoxLunch features Naruto in the very powerful Sage Mode. You can tell by the intense, toad-like eyes that he has.

Naruto doesn’t learn Sage Mode until the Pain’s Assault arc of Naruto Shippuden, and it requires a lot of training. But when he does, it’s a huge leap forward for the ninja.

You can find this item at BoxLunch.

4. Sharingan, Amazon

Sharingan necklaces (Naruto) at Amazon

These four necklaces feature four different versions of the Sharingan. The Sharingan is one of the trademark abilities of the Uchiha clan.

The purple one resembles Sasuke’s Rinnegan, while the simple one at bottom right is the basic, generic Sharingan. I think the upper right one looks like Obito’s Mangekyo Sharingan. It’s also similar to Kakashi’s Sharingan (which he got from Obito). The bottom left one is probably Sasuke’s Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.

Thank goodness for Google searches, or I would have never figured those out.

You can find these items at Amazon.

5. Minato’s Kunai, Mister SFC

Minato's kunai (Naruto) at Mister SFC

This necklace features the special kunai knives used by Naruto’s father, Minato (i.e., the Fourth Hokage).

There are other generic kunai necklaces out there (including the next one on this list). But with their three points and thicker handle, Flying Thunder God kunai (or Hiraishin kunai) are unique. Minato had the ability to teleport to any location where the kunai were. If you’re a fan of “the Yellow Flash,” you might want to consider this necklace.

Mister SFC is a San Francisco-based jewelry company. In addition to licensed jewelry, the company also sells pop culture (both anime and American) collectibles.

You can find this item at Mister SFC.

6. Kunai and Shuriken, Amazon

Kunai and shuriken necklace (Naruto) at Amazon

In Naruto’s ninja world, kunai knives and flying “ninja star” shuriken are fairly common weapons. The kunai on this necklace is marked with Konoha’s leaf symbol, while the shuriken has “Naruto” written around the middle.

In real life, kunai knives probably started out as gardening tools, which made it easy for ninja spies to conceal their true purpose.

7. Naruto Pendant, BoxLunch

Naruto pendant at BoxLunch

This pendant is etched with an outline image of Naruto Uzumaki. He’s crouching, as if ready to leap into battle. He has a large ninja scroll on his back, and he’s wearing a cloak.  The scroll and cloak combination means that this is probably Sage Mode Naruto. (See #3 above.)

When you buy from BoxLunch, you’re also helping to buy meals for food banks. BoxLunch is a partner with Feeding America, an anti-hunger nonprofit organization.

You can find this item at BoxLunch.

8. Leaf Village, Amazon

Leaf Village (Naruto) headband and necklace at Amazon

With this item, you get both a necklace and a headband. Both items feature Konohagakure’s swirling leaf symbol.

This combination set could help you put together a generic Hidden Leaf Village ninja cosplay costume. Pretty much every character on Naruto has a headband/ forehead protector, although Hinata wears hers around her neck, and Ino wears it as a belt.

You can find these items at Amazon.

9. Akatsuki Pendant, Kohl’s

Akatsuki necklace (Naruto) at Kohl's

This glittery Akatsuki pendant is covered in cubic zirconia, i.e. “fake diamond.” Still, it makes for some nice looking bling.

If you’re not in the United States, Kohl’s states that it does not ship to international locations. However, the website does offer advice for international shipping on your own. Kohl’s also recommends that international customers use “a reputable VPN service.” Check out this article for some examples.

You can find this item at Kohl’s.

10. Multiple Ornaments, Amazon

Naruto necklace with multiple ornaments, at Amazon

This unique necklace features a string of multiple Naruto characters and symbols. If you’re indecisive about which necklace design to get, or if you like how this item looks, this might be the right one for you.

The necklace has Itachi, Sasuke, Naruto, Kakashi, Sakura, and Jiraiya. It also has the red cloud of the Akatsuki, a Rinnegan, the Uchiha clan symbol, a Sharingan, Konoha’s leaf symbol, a kunai knife, and a ninja throwing star.

You can find this item at Amazon.

Final Thoughts

When I put this list together, I made certain that all of the items were available, and all of the links worked.

However, I can’t guarantee that items will not be pulled from online catalogs in the future, or become sold out. I can’t prevent webpage addresses from changing to a new location.

That’s why these links go to search results, rather than to a specific page. Hopefully, even if an item disappears for whatever reason, you should be able to find something similar.

I hope you enjoyed this list of Naruto necklaces.
